We want to make sure you know all of the precautions and measures we’re taking to ensure our staff’s and guests’ safety and well-being. ⠀
•Staff Wellness Checks & Procedures•⠀
We will be screening and taking the temperature of each person scheduled to work at the start of each shift. All kitchen staff and floor staff will be wearing appropriate face masks covering their noses and mouths during their shifts, as well as using gloves when necessary, and washing hands thoroughly and frequently.⠀
Face masks are required upon entering and moving about the restaurant. Once, and only if you are seated at your table, you may remove your masks. Masks must be worn to the restrooms. For your convenience, we will have disposable 3-ply masks available for purchase for $1. ⠀ ⠀
You will notice the seating in our place looks a little different than you’re used to. This is to encourage social distancing. We ask that you wait to be seated upon entering and maintain the space. ⠀ ⠀
Once a table is through with their meal, their table, chairs and menus will all be disinfected. All condiment containers will be taken for disinfecting and replaced for new guests. All high-touch surfaces throughout Em J’s (door handles, tables, chairs, restroom surfaces, host area, counter etc..) will be continually and frequently disinfected.
We will continue to offer contactless curbside takeout just as we have been. Our menu can be viewed on www.emjscafe.com and you can place your order with us by calling 610-644-8275.⠀
We are dedicated to doing what is right for your families, and for ours. By following CDC recommendations, continuing our safety procedures with diligence, and enhancing them if/when necessary, we hope to provide a space that feels safe for our community to enjoy. We look forward to feeling the buzz of excitement from our guests young and old, new faces and familiar faces, within our four walls. We thank you for your support, cooperation, and your patience as we navigate our new business procedures.
